Company Director - Scott Ebdon Model Maker. Currently operating my own model making company providing sets, models and special effects for the film, photographic and television industries. Over the past thirteen years I have worked on well over 150 animated and live action television commercials. As a studio manager I have co-ordinated up to a dozen model makers working over several projects at once. My primary focus has been on stop motion animation and I specialize in building the ball and socket armatures inside the characters that the animators move a frame at a time to bring them to life. I work in a wide variety of materials and mediums including wood, metal, plastics, polyester/epoxy resins and polyeurathanes. I am skilled in all aspects of silicone and plaster mould making and in casting with foam latex and soft translucent silicones. I am also skilled in many aspects of lathe and engineering work, soldering, brazing, welding, spray painting and airbrushing.
